B-Value, transform you social organization
Third Sector Accelerator
B-Value is the program that promotes the transformation of the social sector through innovation. Aimed at leaders of the third sector who work in non-profit organisations based in Spain, it is now in its 9th edition and seeks to help develop projects from a strategic vision, design new models of income generation, professionalise the value proposal and move away from traditional philanthropic schemes.
The B-Value program is promoted by Ship2B Foundation and Fundación Banco Sabadell and has the support of Fundación Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate. Also, Sabadell Seguros, Fundación PwC, Fundación ONCE, Fundación Joaquim Molins Figueras and After form part of the programme as strategic partners, and Fundación Hazloposible, Asociación Española de Fundaciones, Salto con Red and Coordinadora Catalana de Fundacions as collaborating entities.
We are looking for entities:
- Non-profit based in Spain (associations, foundations, special non-profit employment centers, insertion companies, social initiative cooperatives)
- That serve any vulnerable group and from any field of action (with socio-labour inclusion, accessibility or care for families as priority lines)
- Who have a preliminary idea of the innovative project that they want to work on, or an ongoing project that they want to rethink through social innovation processes
- That they can dedicate time to a small leading team for whom the project presented is a strategic line of work during the year
- Whose management explicitly supports the project and team

- To train in new models of income generation that allow the professionalization of the value proposal for users and financiers.
Phase 1: Training and Conceptualization
The selection committee, composed of Ship2B members and by experts representing all partners and collaborating entities of the program, will make a first selection of entities and choose a maximum of 40.
In order to specify the project proposal, B-Value will put the following tools at your disposal:
- An online training platform on social innovation.
- Methodology for the development and analysis of your project.
- Webinars with experts.
- Workshops with professional experts on different topics
Phase 2: Project Development
From the proposals received, the 10 entities with the greatest potential will be selected to check their project with mentors, experts and possible collaborators, as well as to work on specific aspects. The 10 finalists will also participate in an intensive week of personalized workshops, where they will be able to work more intensely on their proposals according to the needs of each project.
In addition, they will participate in workshops with professionals from different areas (finance, communication, business) who will help them to continue optimizing the proposal, and will be accompanied by a Ship2B tutor throughout the process.
Closing and Demo Day
The 10 finalist entities will present their projects at Demo Day, a public event in which the results of the program will be presented and the B-Value awards and grants will be publicly awarded. In addition, a group of alumni will be created for the awarded entities, made up of mentors and experts who will act as ambassadors for the project, in order to continue supporting the finalist teams after their passage through the program.
